ON THE CROSS On the cross both sin and man died but Christ did not die. He was made sin for the body of sin to die in man and not in God. As God He cannot die, But as man He took on the body of sin on the cross for sin to die through his death. Roman 6: 6 knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed,( NOT THE BODY OF CHRIST ) that henceforth we should not serve sin.( 2Cor 5: 21) FOR HE HATH MADE HIM TO BE SIN FOR US, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him  On the cross man died with Christ for sins that man would be dead to sin and free from sin. HE RAISED US UP WITH CHRIST COL 3:1 ¶ IF YE THEN BE RISEN WITH CHRIST, SEEK THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE ABOVE, WHERE CHRIST SITTETH ON THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD. You cannot be raised with Christ in unbelief. Unbelief keeps men in the grave of ignorance. Ignorance is a big grave. Christ came to save the whole world from sin but many are still buried in the grave of ignorance through unbelief. The life of a believer begins by faith in Christ.
