HE RAISED US UP WITH CHRIST

COL 3:1 ¶ IF YE THEN BE RISEN WITH CHRIST, SEEK THOSE THINGS WHICH ARE ABOVE, WHERE CHRIST SITTETH ON THE RIGHT HAND OF GOD.

EPH 2:  6 AND HATH RAISED US UP TOGETHER, AND MADE US SIT TOGETHER IN HEAVENLY PLACES IN CHRIST JESUS

To rise with Christ is a reality that comes to the life of someone who accepts Jesus Christ by faith to receive eternal life. You cannot be raised with Christ in unbelief. Unbelief keeps men in the grave of ignorance. Ignorance is a big grave. No one is destroyed because of sin or by Satan. Our problem is our ignorance.  Christ came to save the whole world from sin but many are still buried in the grave of ignorance through unbelief.

The life of a believer begins by faith in Christ. This is the reason believers should know their stand in Christ. The knowledge of Christ keeps us ahead of every doubt and fear that the world brings through natural occurrences and challenges. An unbeliever cannot say he has risen with Christ because he is dead in the grave of ignorance through unbelief.

COL 2:  12 BURIED WITH HIM IN BAPTISM, WHEREIN ALSO YE ARE RISEN WITH HIM THROUGH THE FAITH OF THE OPERATION OF GOD, WHO HATH RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD.

Eternal life is a resurrected life. It came after Jesus had risen as Christ. It is a gift.

ROM 6:23 FOR THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH; BUT THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.

1JO 5:11 AND THIS IS THE RECORD, THAT GOD HATH GIVEN TO US ETERNAL LIFE, AND THIS LIFE IS IN HIS SON.

It is a quickening life in Christ. Eternal life quickens us from the grave of ignorance into a NEW LIFE in Christ. This requires the knowledge of the giver of this life. Jesus Christ. It is at this point that one could boldly say

ROM 6: 5  FOR IF WE HAVE BEEN PLANTED TOGETHER IN THE LIKENESS OF HIS DEATH, WE SHALL BE ALSO IN THE LIKENESS OF HIS RESURRECTION.

EPH 2: 6  AND HATH RAISED US UP TOGETHER, AND MADE US SIT TOGETHER IN HEAVENLY PLACES IN CHRIST JESUS.

An unbeliever is not sited with Christ in heavenly places even when Christ took sin away for all men because he has not receive the gift of salvation.

John 1:29 ¶ The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world

Col 1: 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

Gal 1 4 Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us from this present evil world, according to the will of God and our Father:

It is not God’s responsibility to confess Christ for man. It is man’s responsibility to accept Christ by faith so that he could receive all that Christ worked for man through His death, burial and resurrection.

EPH 2: 8 FOR BY GRACE ARE YE SAVED THROUGH FAITH; AND THAT NOT OF YOURSELVES: IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD:.

ROM 10 : 10 FOR WITH THE HEART MAN BELIEVETH UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS; AND WITH THE MOUTH CONFESSION IS MADE UNTO SALVATION.

For you to say you have risen with Christ you have receive Him by faith. Nobody can do it for you.

I pray for you reading this to make that choice today so that you can boldly declare that I have risen with Christ.

Believe me it is the best place to be.

Thank you Jesus.

YOU DO NOT BECOME A SAINT BECAUSE OF WORKS Many times believers have called those who teach the truth about benefits of Christ death, burial and resurrection as those who teach the diluted Gospel but in actuality, they are those teaching the undiluted Gospel. The Gospel is not the mind of men. It does not have to appear pleasing to any man’s hearing to be the truth. Christ came into this world to take away the sin of the world. And he did it by offering His body for sin to die in the flesh. John 1: 29 ¶ The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD, WHICH TAKETH AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD. GAL 1: 4 WHO GAVE HIMSELF FOR OUR SINS, THAT HE MIGHT DELIVER US FROM THIS PRESENT EVIL WORLD, ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF GOD AND OUR FATHER. HEB 2: 17 WHEREFORE IN ALL THINGS IT BEHOVED HIM TO BE MADE LIKE UNTO HIS BRE...

GOD IS THE FATHER OF SPIRITS MAN IS THE FATHER OF FLESH Heb 12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather BE IN SUBJECTION UNTO THE FATHER OF SPIRITS, AND LIVE? In the Old Testament, God was not known as a father. He was only a circumstantial God with diverse names based on the situation he created to reveal Himself to a particular person at a particular time. Consequently, many have seen God manifest in their lives in a particular situation at a particular time that made them give   God names according to the situation H created for the revelation. These names are as follows. Jehovah shama, Jehovah Nissi,Jehovah Elohim, Jehovah Adonai etc. God was not known as a father in the Old Testament because God can only beget spirit born by the incorruptible word. 1PE 1:23 BEING BORN AGAIN, NOT OF CORRUPTIBLE SEED, BUT OF INCORRUPTIBLE, BY THE WORD OF GOD, WHICH LIVETH AND ABIDETH FOR EVER . ON THE CROSS On the cross both sin and man died but Christ did not die. He was made sin for the body of sin to die in man and not in God. As God He cannot die, But as man He took on the body of sin on the cross for sin to die through his death. Roman 6: 6 knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed,( NOT THE BODY OF CHRIST ) that henceforth we should not serve sin.( 2Cor 5: 21) FOR HE HATH MADE HIM TO BE SIN FOR US, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him  On the cross man died with Christ for sins that man would be dead to sin and free from sin. Ro 6:8 Now IF WE BE DEAD WITH CHRIST, we believe that we shall also live with him: 2Tim2: 11 It is a faithful saying: FOR IF WE BE DEAD WITH HIM, we shall also live with him: Rom 6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin  Because man died with Christ man became dead to sin. Rom 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer ...
