THE REASONS WE SHOULD BUILD OUR DESTINIES ON THE ROCK/WORD.


3. The Word of God generates faith to fulfill our destinies
The Heroes journey is a faith journey. We constantly and consistently need to refuel our hearts with the word of God. We couldn’t have started without the word. We cannot continue without the word. We cannot finish without the word. Our salvation comes through faith in the word of God. (Romans 10:8-10) 8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
   .It was the word of God we heard that generated the faith that made us to become saved. It is the word that builds us.(Acts 20:32) And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.
The word is a force generator. It generates the force that we need for exploits as Heroes. If we should forget anything it should not be the word of God.. If you are not saves yet, it is because you have not heard about what God had done through Christ. Or you may have heard and refused to believe and act upon the word.
This is a very good opportunity for you to hear and  believe and act upon the word of God to become saved. The realty about life begins when we start believing and acting on the word of God. If you have not done so, you are still living a fake life no matter how much money you have in the bank or the number of estates you have built. A fake life is a defeated life. It is an inferior life. It is satan controlled life. It is a selfish life. We have to come out of that life and live the life of victory we have in Christ. Do not let your ignorance to rub you off the glorious life in Christ. To be effective in the hands of God we need a consistent refurbishment by the word.
When we get weak in pursuit of our destinies we should relapse back to the word for revitalization and rejuvenation.

GOD IS THE FATHER OF SPIRITS MAN IS THE FATHER OF FLESH Heb 12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather BE IN SUBJECTION UNTO THE FATHER OF SPIRITS, AND LIVE? In the Old Testament, God was not known as a father. He was only a circumstantial God with diverse names based on the situation he created to reveal Himself to a particular person at a particular time. Consequently, many have seen God manifest in their lives in a particular situation at a particular time that made them give   God names according to the situation H created for the revelation. These names are as follows. ON THE CROSS On the cross both sin and man died but Christ did not die. He was made sin for the body of sin to die in man and not in God. As God He cannot die, But as man He took on the body of sin on the cross for sin to die through his death. Roman 6: 6 knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed,( NOT THE BODY OF CHRIST ) that henceforth we should not serve sin.( 2Cor 5: 21) FOR HE HATH MADE HIM TO BE SIN FOR US, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him  On the cross man died with Christ for sins that man would be dead to sin and free from sin.
