TOPIC: UNDERSTANDING FELLOWSHIP
TEXT:1 JOHN 1:1-3
INTRODUCTION
Fellowship means intimate sharing .It
is a sharing of oneness both inwardly and outwardly It means love that
originated from the spirit. .It means brotherly care and concern with the
affairs of other Christians without pretense.
2 Cor 13:14
14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the
love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
1 John 1:2-4
. 3 We announce to you what we have seen and
heard, because we want you also to have fellowship with us. Our fellowship is
with God the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. 4 We write this to you so you can be full
of joy with us.
1 Cor 1:8-10
Jesus will keep you strong until the end
so that there will be no wrong in you on the day our Lord Jesus Christ comes
again. 9 God, who has called you to SHARE
everything with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.
OUR QUALIFICATION
The only reason why we dare to have
fellowship with God, in the sense of sharing things in common with Him, is that
He has raised our status through the death and resurrection of Christ (Eph
2:4-7)
Prayer
Oh God help us to live together in fellowship in Jesus name.
