TOPIC: UNDERSTANDING FELLOWSHIP

TEXT:1 JOHN 1:1-3

INTRODUCTION
Fellowship means intimate sharing .It is a sharing of oneness both inwardly and outwardly It means love that originated from the spirit. .It means brotherly care and concern with the affairs of other Christians without pretense.
2 Cor 13:14
14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.           
1 John 1:2-4
. 3 We announce to you what we have seen and heard, because we want you also to have fellowship with us. Our fellowship is with God the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. 4 We write this to you so you can be full of joy with us.
            
1 Cor 1:8-10
Jesus will keep you strong until the end so that there will be no wrong in you on the day our Lord Jesus Christ comes again. 9 God, who has called you to SHARE everything with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.
OUR QUALIFICATION
The only reason why we dare to have fellowship with God, in the sense of sharing things in common with Him, is that He has raised our status through the death and resurrection of Christ (Eph 2:4-7)

Prayer
Oh God help us to live together in fellowship in Jesus name.

                         YOU DO NOT BECOME A SAINT BECAUSE OF WORKS Many times believers have called those who teach the truth about benefits of Christ death, burial and resurrection as those who teach the diluted Gospel but in actuality, they are those teaching the undiluted Gospel. The Gospel is not the mind of men. It does not have to appear pleasing to any man’s hearing to be the truth. Christ came into this world to take away the sin of the world. CHRIST IS ALL AND IN ALL TO THOSE WHO ARE IN HIM One of the ways you know those who have been beguiled by vain philosophies of men is that they say things from mental points of view to appeal to their ignorant assumptions about Christ. They read the word with the wrong intentions of assuming that Christ is in every one even if you are not born again. Some even assume that Christ did not even come in the flesh .Many disagree with every revelation of Christ by the Holy Spirit falsely proclaiming that Christ is a fairy tale passed on from one generation to another and finally given to Africans to keep them economic lethargy . But these assumptions contradict the word of God which says that salvation comes through faith in Christ.
