 DEAD WORKS ARE OVER: WE SHOULD GO ON WITH GOOD WORKS.
.  Heb 6:1 ¶ Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; NOT LAYING AGAIN THE FOUNDATION OF REPENTANCE FROM DEAD WORKS, and of faith toward God.
Dead works are works based on the knowledge of sin that brings condemnation and eventually death. The knowledge of sin is the knowledge of the dead and it is a dead knowledge .A dead knowledge cannot give birth to good works. Dead works are product of dead faith which is based on the righteousness that comes by the law which gives the knowledge of sin unto condemnation. Rom 3:20 Therefore by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight: for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
  Jasmes2:17 Even SO FAITH, IF IT HATH NOT WORKS, IS DEAD, being alone .Since our faith is not based on the righteousness that comes by the law but through grace in Christ the works here is not based on the law but grace in the finished works of Christ.
God works spring from the heart that knows that righteousness has been imputed on our spirit to serve God as sons unlike before that sin was imputed on man unto death. . 2Tim 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began. We have to recognize that God had purged our consciences from dead works so that we could serve Him by grace through Jesus Christ.( Heb 9: 13-14) For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, PURGE YOUR CONSCIENCE FROM DEAD WORKS to serve the living God The knowledge of the significance of Christ’s death, burial and resurrection is the bedrock for good works because good works are not based on the knowledge of sin and death. Good works are based on love. It is based on what God did for man through Christ. (Heb 10:24 )And LET US CONSIDER ONE ANOTHER TO PROVOKE UNTO LOVE AND TO GOOD WORKS
We should not let our conscience condemn us when we talk about the grace of God. That is the Good News. Sin is dead so the knowledge of sin cannot give life .Christ is life and the knowledge of Christ gives life.

GOD IS THE FATHER OF SPIRITS MAN IS THE FATHER OF FLESH Heb 12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather BE IN SUBJECTION UNTO THE FATHER OF SPIRITS, AND LIVE? In the Old Testament, God was not known as a father. He was only a circumstantial God with diverse names based on the situation he created to reveal Himself to a particular person at a particular time. Consequently, many have seen God manifest in their lives in a particular situation at a particular time that made them give   God names according to the situation H created for the revelation. These names are as follows. ON THE CROSS On the cross both sin and man died but Christ did not die. He was made sin for the body of sin to die in man and not in God. As God He cannot die, But as man He took on the body of sin on the cross for sin to die through his death. Roman 6: 6 knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed,( NOT THE BODY OF CHRIST ) that henceforth we should not serve sin.( 2Cor 5: 21) FOR HE HATH MADE HIM TO BE SIN FOR US, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him  On the cross man died with Christ for sins that man would be dead to sin and free from sin.
