OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS IS BY FAITH

 REVEALING CHRIST DAILY DEVOTIONAL (RCD)

Topic: OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS IS BY FAITH .

Key Sculpture. Romans 10: 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth

Text: ( Roman 10: 1- 10)

Romans 10:1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved. 2 For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. 3 For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. 4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth. 5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them. 6 But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on this wise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bring Christ down from above:) 7 Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring up Christ again from the dead.) 8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

INTRODUCTION
There is no other way to have a right relationship with God apart from the relationship he had established for man in Christ. That is why it is only in Christ that any man can be a new Creation.
Why it is so is that God made Jesus Christ our substitute for sin so that we become one with Him in Christ
This means that anyone who believes in Christ has accepted God standard of righteousness by faith and not by the works of the Jewish laws.
We do the works of righteousness after we have believed not the works for righteousness neither is it the works on our righteousness.
If anyone goes on to establish any other form of relationships with God aside from faith in Christ that person is establishing his on righteousness whiich is no righteousness .
The righteousness of God in Christ is received through faith and not by work.

👉Verse 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
It appears so simply to man because Christ paid the price for us.

2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
This is grace. Many who do not believe God enough for what Christ had done also go about establishing their own righteousness by adding rules that men have to obey according to Jewish laws to be made righteous but i can say emphatically that it is nothing but ignorance.

👉Romans 4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.
👉 Romans 4:6 Even as David also describeth the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputeth righteousness without works,

Lessons
• We become the righteousness of God when we believe in Christ because Christ was made sin for us
• The laws of Moses has been fulfilled so that the righteousness of God will be through faith in Christ.
• Our self righteousness is no righteousness without faith in Christ.
Prayers
1. Lor thank you for making your righteousness in Christ.
2. Thank you because I am righteous not because of what i do but because of what Christ did for me.
3. Holy Spirit help me to do the works of righteousness by winning souls

YOU DO NOT BECOME A SAINT BECAUSE OF WORKS Many times believers have called those who teach the truth about benefits of Christ death, burial and resurrection as those who teach the diluted Gospel but in actuality, they are those teaching the undiluted Gospel. The Gospel is not the mind of men. It does not have to appear pleasing to any man’s hearing to be the truth. Christ came into this world to take away the sin of the world. And he did it by offering His body for sin to die in the flesh. John 1: 29 ¶ The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD, WHICH TAKETH AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD. GAL 1: 4 WHO GAVE HIMSELF FOR OUR SINS, THAT HE MIGHT DELIVER US FROM THIS PRESENT EVIL WORLD, ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF GOD AND OUR FATHER. HEB 2: 17 WHEREFORE IN ALL THINGS IT BEHOVED HIM TO BE MADE LIKE UNTO HIS BRE...

GOD IS THE FATHER OF SPIRITS MAN IS THE FATHER OF FLESH Heb 12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather BE IN SUBJECTION UNTO THE FATHER OF SPIRITS, AND LIVE? In the Old Testament, God was not known as a father. He was only a circumstantial God with diverse names based on the situation he created to reveal Himself to a particular person at a particular time. Consequently, many have seen God manifest in their lives in a particular situation at a particular time that made them give   God names according to the situation H created for the revelation. These names are as follows. Jehovah shama, Jehovah Nissi,Jehovah Elohim, Jehovah Adonai etc. God was not known as a father in the Old Testament because God can only beget spirit born by the incorruptible word. 1PE 1:23 BEING BORN AGAIN, NOT OF CORRUPTIBLE SEED, BUT OF INCORRUPTIBLE, BY THE WORD OF GOD, WHICH LIVETH AND ABIDETH FOR EVER . ON THE CROSS On the cross both sin and man died but Christ did not die. He was made sin for the body of sin to die in man and not in God. As God He cannot die, But as man He took on the body of sin on the cross for sin to die through his death. Roman 6: 6 knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed,( NOT THE BODY OF CHRIST ) that henceforth we should not serve sin.( 2Cor 5: 21) FOR HE HATH MADE HIM TO BE SIN FOR US, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him  On the cross man died with Christ for sins that man would be dead to sin and free from sin. Ro 6:8 Now IF WE BE DEAD WITH CHRIST, we believe that we shall also live with him: 2Tim2: 11 It is a faithful saying: FOR IF WE BE DEAD WITH HIM, we shall also live with him: Rom 6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin  Because man died with Christ man became dead to sin. Rom 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer ...
