YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN

REVEALING CHRIST DAILY DEVOTIONAL

Memory verse: 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

Text : JOHN 3: 1-8
1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: 2 The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. 3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. 4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? 5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. 6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. 8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

INTRODUCTION
Many believers have assumed that Christ was expecting Nicodemus to be born again instantly. But that was not what Christ was telling Nicodemus. He was teaching Nicodemus the new relationship which we begin with God and man in Christ after His resurrection.
Being born again can only take place after the resurrection of Christ not before. So we have to understand the stage man's relationship with is at every point in time.
Now that Christ had risen and taken away the sins of the world, every man mo matter the age, race or tribe is free to fulfill that prophecy given to Nicodemus by Jesus. It is our duty to accept Jesus Christ and also the duty of the New Creation to unveil Jesus Christ as the messiah to mankind.
This is the era one can boldly declare..i am born again not of the Jewish laws or man's philosophy but by the incorruptible seed of the word of God which lives and abides forever.

1 Peter 1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

So the water there is not the ordinary water as in water baptism. The water there in verse 5 is the word of God. Because water does not wash away sin. Sin is washed away by the blood of Jesus.

Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
Acts 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
Hebrews 10:18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

Lessons
• Our lives are incomplete until we accept Jesus Christ
• Christ paid the price for sin for man to live ny faith through him.
• It is only the blood of Jesus Christ that washes away sin.

Prayers.
Father we thank you for your love for us while we were yet sinners that Christ died for us.
We pray for many that have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior .
Thank you for your strength sustaining us in the body of Christ.

YOU DO NOT BECOME A SAINT BECAUSE OF WORKS Many times believers have called those who teach the truth about benefits of Christ death, burial and resurrection as those who teach the diluted Gospel but in actuality, they are those teaching the undiluted Gospel. The Gospel is not the mind of men. It does not have to appear pleasing to any man’s hearing to be the truth. Christ came into this world to take away the sin of the world. And he did it by offering His body for sin to die in the flesh. John 1: 29 ¶ The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD, WHICH TAKETH AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD. GAL 1: 4 WHO GAVE HIMSELF FOR OUR SINS, THAT HE MIGHT DELIVER US FROM THIS PRESENT EVIL WORLD, ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF GOD AND OUR FATHER. HEB 2: 17 WHEREFORE IN ALL THINGS IT BEHOVED HIM TO BE MADE LIKE UNTO HIS BRE...

GOD IS THE FATHER OF SPIRITS MAN IS THE FATHER OF FLESH Heb 12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather BE IN SUBJECTION UNTO THE FATHER OF SPIRITS, AND LIVE? In the Old Testament, God was not known as a father. He was only a circumstantial God with diverse names based on the situation he created to reveal Himself to a particular person at a particular time. Consequently, many have seen God manifest in their lives in a particular situation at a particular time that made them give   God names according to the situation H created for the revelation. These names are as follows. Jehovah shama, Jehovah Nissi,Jehovah Elohim, Jehovah Adonai etc. God was not known as a father in the Old Testament because God can only beget spirit born by the incorruptible word. 1PE 1:23 BEING BORN AGAIN, NOT OF CORRUPTIBLE SEED, BUT OF INCORRUPTIBLE, BY THE WORD OF GOD, WHICH LIVETH AND ABIDETH FOR EVER . ON THE CROSS On the cross both sin and man died but Christ did not die. He was made sin for the body of sin to die in man and not in God. As God He cannot die, But as man He took on the body of sin on the cross for sin to die through his death. Roman 6: 6 knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed,( NOT THE BODY OF CHRIST ) that henceforth we should not serve sin.( 2Cor 5: 21) FOR HE HATH MADE HIM TO BE SIN FOR US, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him  On the cross man died with Christ for sins that man would be dead to sin and free from sin. Ro 6:8 Now IF WE BE DEAD WITH CHRIST, we believe that we shall also live with him: 2Tim2: 11 It is a faithful saying: FOR IF WE BE DEAD WITH HIM, we shall also live with him: Rom 6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin  Because man died with Christ man became dead to sin. Rom 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer ...
