HEROES DIGEST

                 WE ARE NOT UNDER THE LAW BUT UNDER GRACE 1
 (Eph 2:12-19)

12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
 13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
 14 ¶ For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us 15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
 16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby: {thereby: or, in himself}
 17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.
 18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.
 19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with
the saints, and of the household of God;

The law put the Jew in captivity.The law was not meant to draw man back to God but the law drew man farther away from God. But Christ brought the freedom we need to relate with God as our father.Those who are bent on obeying the laws of Moses can never be friends of God.The will only remain strangers.They will always see a reason to cry for mercy everyday and go back doing the same thing again because no man can actually keep the law of Moses.The law made man an enemy of God.The Law of Moses was for the Jew not for the Gentiles.The Gentiles were made for grace.The gentiles could only be accepted as part of the covenant through the faith in Christ. (Gal 3:13-14) 13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:
 14 That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

There should have been no gentile participation in the covenant blessings without Christ.We should stop trying to keep the laws of Moses that Christ had fulfilled and abolished in His flesh when He died on the cross.Grace gives us advantage to enjoy all that Christ did for us that we could not had done anyways no matter how hard we try.So quit trying to fulfill the laws that was already fulfilled by Christ on the cross so that we could live by grace that runs through His veins.Accept Jesus into your life today and enjoy your live benefits as Heroes.You can never do it by yourself.
(Eph 2: 8) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God
GRACE IS THE FREEDOM TO SERVE GOD IN LOVE NOT WITH FEAR..It came as a result of the death of Christ.It is one of the things man cannot do for himself.
The law cannot make man right with God. (Ga 5:4 )Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
There is no other time to enjoy the grace that Christ procured for us but now.God made it so.Let us acceot it the way God designed it and work in line with His vision us through Christ.

Prayer

Father we thank you for the grace we have in Christ

HEROES DIGEST

                         YOU DO NOT BECOME A SAINT BECAUSE OF WORKS Many times believers have called those who teach the truth about benefits of Christ death, burial and resurrection as those who teach the diluted Gospel but in actuality, they are those teaching the undiluted Gospel. The Gospel is not the mind of men. It does not have to appear pleasing to any man’s hearing to be the truth. Christ came into this world to take away the sin of the world. And he did it by offering His body for sin to die in the flesh. John 1: 29 ¶ The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD, WHICH TAKETH AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD. GAL 1: 4 WHO GAVE HIMSELF FOR OUR SINS, THAT HE MIGHT DELIVER US FROM THIS PRESENT EVIL WORLD, ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF GOD AND OUR FATHER. HEB 2: 17 WHEREFORE IN ALL THINGS IT BEHOVED HIM TO BE MADE LIKE UNTO HIS BRE...

GOD IS THE FATHER OF SPIRITS MAN IS THE FATHER OF FLESH Heb 12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather BE IN SUBJECTION UNTO THE FATHER OF SPIRITS, AND LIVE? In the Old Testament, God was not known as a father. He was only a circumstantial God with diverse names based on the situation he created to reveal Himself to a particular person at a particular time. Consequently, many have seen God manifest in their lives in a particular situation at a particular time that made them give   God names according to the situation H created for the revelation. These names are as follows. Jehovah shama, Jehovah Nissi,Jehovah Elohim, Jehovah Adonai etc. God was not known as a father in the Old Testament because God can only beget spirit born by the incorruptible word. 1PE 1:23 BEING BORN AGAIN, NOT OF CORRUPTIBLE SEED, BUT OF INCORRUPTIBLE, BY THE WORD OF GOD, WHICH LIVETH AND ABIDETH FOR EVER . Abrah...

ON THE CROSS On the cross both sin and man died but Christ did not die. He was made sin for the body of sin to die in man and not in God. As God He cannot die, But as man He took on the body of sin on the cross for sin to die through his death. Roman 6: 6 knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed,( NOT THE BODY OF CHRIST ) that henceforth we should not serve sin.( 2Cor 5: 21) FOR HE HATH MADE HIM TO BE SIN FOR US, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him  On the cross man died with Christ for sins that man would be dead to sin and free from sin. Ro 6:8 Now IF WE BE DEAD WITH CHRIST, we believe that we shall also live with him: 2Tim2: 11 It is a faithful saying: FOR IF WE BE DEAD WITH HIM, we shall also live with him: Rom 6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin  Because man died with Christ man became dead to sin. Rom 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer ...
