YOU DO NOT BECOME A SAINT BECAUSE
OF WORKS
Many times believers have called
those who teach the truth about benefits of Christ death, burial and
resurrection as those who teach the diluted Gospel but in actuality, they are
those teaching the undiluted Gospel. The Gospel is not the mind of men. It does
not have to appear pleasing to any man’s hearing to be the truth.
Christ came into this world to
take away the sin of the world. And he did it by offering His body for sin to
die in the flesh.
John 1: 29 ¶ The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith,
BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD, WHICH TAKETH AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD.
GAL 1: 4 WHO GAVE HIMSELF FOR OUR SINS, THAT HE MIGHT DELIVER US FROM
THIS PRESENT EVIL WORLD, ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF GOD AND OUR FATHER.
HEB 2: 17 WHEREFORE IN ALL THINGS IT BEHOVED HIM TO BE MADE LIKE UNTO
HIS BRETHREN, THAT HE MIGHT BE A MERCIFUL AND FAITHFUL HIGH PRIEST IN THINGS
PERTAINING TO GOD, TO MAKE RECONCILIATION FOR THE SINS OF THE PEOPLE.
1 JOHN 2: 2 AND HE IS THE PROPITIATION FOR OUR SINS: AND NOT FOR OURS
ONLY, BUT ALSO FOR THE SINS OF THE WHOLE WORLD.
ROMAN 3: 25 WHOM GOD HATH SET FORTH TO BE A PROPITIATION THROUGH FAITH
IN HIS BLOOD, TO DECLARE HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS FOR THE REMISSION OF SINS THAT ARE
PAST, THROUGH THE FORBEARANCE OF GOD;
1COR 1: 3 FOR I DELIVERED UNTO YOU FIRST OF ALL THAT WHICH I ALSO
RECEIVED, HOW THAT CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS ACCORDING TO THE SCRIPTURES .
Paul having this in view always
statred his letter refereeing to the believers he was writing as saints.
ROM 1:7 TO ALL THAT BE IN ROME, BELOVED OF GOD, CALLED TO BE SAINTS:
GRACE TO YOU AND PEACE FROM GOD OUR FATHER, AND THE LORD JESUS CHRIST
1 COR 1:2 UNTO THE CHURCH OF GOD WHICH IS AT CORINTH, TO THEM THAT ARE
SANCTIFIED IN CHRIST JESUS, CALLED TO BE SAINTS, WITH ALL THAT IN EVERY PLACE
CALL UPON THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD, BOTH THEIRS AND OURS:
God did not call us to be saints
because we passed His exam. This means that no man is in Christ based on merit.
He qualified us be Himself before He called us. He issued us the certificates
before we enrolled in the school of eternal life. To enter into this school of
eternal living is your choice. He had already made the certificate available
for you but you have to come in through faith in Christ. In this school Christ
is all we learn. Our teacher is the Holy Spirit.
Christ is our merit for eternal
living .It is not by your works so that no man should boast. Today many people
are boasting in the church thinking that God is rating them based on their
self- generated righteousness instead of the righteousness of God that we were
made in Christ.
ROM 4:5 BUT TO HIM THAT WORKETH NOT, BUT BELIEVETH ON HIM THAT
JUSTIFIETH THE UNGODLY, HIS FAITH IS COUNTED FOR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
TITUS 3: (4 -5 ) 4 BUT AFTER
THAT THE KINDNESS AND LOVE OF GOD OUR SAVIOUR TOWARD MAN APPEARED,5 NOT BY
WORKS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS WHICH WE HAVE DONE, BUT ACCORDING TO HIS MERCY HE SAVED
US, BY THE WASHING OF REGENERATION, AND RENEWING OF THE HOLY GHOST;
EPHISIANS 2: 8 FOR BY GRACE ARE YE SAVED THROUGH FAITH; AND THAT NOT OF
YOURSELVES: IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD: 9 NOT OF WORKS, LEST ANY MAN SHOULD BOAST.
2COR 5: 21 FOR HE HATH MADE HIM TO BE SIN FOR US, WHO KNEW NO SIN; THAT
WE MIGHT BE MADE THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD IN HIM.
1JOHN 3: 5 AND YE
KNOW THAT HE WAS MANIFESTED TO TAKE AWAY OUR SINS; AND IN HIM IS NO SIN.
To be a saint is to believe in the finished works of Christ
because your works no matter how pleasing it appears before men cannot make you
a saint. If you accept Jesus Christ, your mistakes no matter how grave it may
be cannot make you a sinner .This is because Jesus Christ manifested when all men
were under sin.
Nothing can stop God from loving you.
ROM 5: 10 FOR IF,
WHEN WE WERE ENEMIES, WE WERE RECONCILED TO GOD BY THE DEATH OF HIS SON, MUCH
MORE, BEING RECONCILED, WE SHALL BE SAVED BY HIS LIFE.
HEB 7: 27 WHO NEEDETH
NOT DAILY, AS THOSE HIGH PRIESTS, TO OFFER UP SACRIFICE, FIRST FOR HIS OWN
SINS, AND THEN FOR THE PEOPLE'S: FOR THIS HE DID ONCE, WHEN HE OFFERED UP
HIMSELF.
HEB 10 : 12 BUT THIS
MAN, AFTER HE HAD OFFERED ONE SACRIFICE FOR SINS FOR EVER, SAT DOWN ON THE
RIGHT HAND OF GOD .
RO 5:6 ¶ FOR WHEN WE
WERE YET WITHOUT STRENGTH, IN DUE TIME CHRIST DIED FOR THE UNGODLY.
We have to stop looking at ourselves and start looking unto
Jesus. When you look at yourself, you will always see faults. Your mind will
disqualify you. When you look unto Jesus, you mind will be renewed and you
become transformed from one level of glory to another into the very image of
Christ who is our reality.
HEB 12: 2 LOOKING
UNTO JESUS THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF OUR FAITH; WHO FOR THE JOY THAT WAS SET
BEFORE HIM ENDURED THE CROSS, DESPISING THE SHAME, AND IS SET DOWN AT THE RIGHT
HAND OF THE THRONE OF GOD.
The knowledge of Christ changes us but it does not happen
instantly. It requires growth. This is where the mind is fed so that you can
control the flesh through the knowledge of Christ. But until you grow, you are
remain a saint, righteous, sanctified, justified and anointed. You are a saint
without spot or wrinkle before God because you are in Christ. There is no sin
in Christ. Christ took away the sin of the world. Living just a natural life is
not the reason Christ took away sin. God wants us to receive this gift of
salvation and live supernaturally natural. This is Eternal life.
Only believe in Christ and receive eternal life. He has
already qualified you.
