        JESUS CHRIST IS THE LIGHT

GEN 1: 3 ¶ AND GOD SAID, LET THERE BE LIGHT: AND THERE WAS LIGHT. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
When God said let there be light in the beginning it did not mean that God was in the dark that He could not see. God does not need any external help to control the macrocosm. The light Cod said to be was not a physical light. So the light did not come to shine on a physical performance.
I said so because God did not create sun that was a physical light until the fourth day.
GEN 1:16 AND GOD MADE TWO GREAT LIGHTS; THE GREATER LIGHT TO RULE THE DAY, AND THE LESSER LIGHT TO RULE THE NIGHT: HE MADE THE STARS ALSO
Light has to do with knowledge of Christ. God was aware of the knowledge of Himself in Christ. And he called the knowledge light. And ignorance he called darkness. The knowledge of Christ is the light to the world and anyone in Christ is a light to the world because he is a child of light. The knowledge of Christ is the light that is in Christ. Anyone without the knowledge of Christ is still living in the darkness of ignorance.
2Cor 4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, HATH SHINED IN OUR HEARTS, TO GIVE THE LIGHT OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE GLORY OF GOD IN THE FACE OF JESUS CHRIST.
(JOHN 1:4-5) IN HIM WAS LIFE; AND THE LIFE WAS THE LIGHT OF MEN.5 ¶ AND THE LIGHT SHINETH IN DARKNESS; AND THE DARKNESS COMPREHENDED IT.
John 12:36 WHILE YE HAVE LIGHT, BELIEVE IN THE LIGHT, THAT YE MAY BE THE CHILDREN OF LIGHT. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them
Eph 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: WALK AS CHILDREN OF LIGHT:
John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, THAT LIGHT IS COME INTO THE WORLD, AND MEN LOVED DARKNESS RATHER THAN LIGHT, BECAUSE THEIR DEEDS WERE EVIL.
John 9:5 As long as I am in the world, I AM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD.
John 12:46 I am come a light into the world, THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH ON ME SHOULD NOT ABIDE IN DARKNESS.
The psalmist had a shadow knowledge of this reality and called God a sun. It was a metaphorical expression because God cannot be a creature.
PS 84:11 FOR THE LORD GOD IS A SUN AND SHIELD: THE LORD WILL GIVE GRACE AND GLORY: NO GOOD THING WILL HE WITHHOLD FROM THEM THAT WALK UPRIGHTLY
If God is a sun then God has been reduced to an object. This verse is shadow of the glory that should radiate through the knowledge of Christ. Sun is an object created by God.
PS 148:3 PRAISE YE HIM, SUN AND MOON: PRAISE HIM, ALL YE STARS OF LIGHT.
Verse 5 Let them praise the name of the LORD: FOR HE COMMANDED, AND THEY WERE CREATED.
 God does not live inside the sun because He was living before the sun was created.
The light actually manifested when Christ manifested in the flesh.. When the word became flesh and dwelt amongst men.
Isaiah also saw the shadow
Isaiah 9:2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.
THIS IS THE REALITY
1John 1:5 ¶ This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, THAT GOD IS LIGHT, AND IN HIM IS NO DARKNESS AT ALL              
LUKE2:32 (CHRIST)A LIGHT TO LIGHTEN THE GENTILES, AND THE GLORY OF THY PEOPLE ISRAEL.
 LUKE 1:79 TO GIVE LIGHT TO THEM THAT SIT IN DARKNESS AND IN THE SHADOW OF DEATH, TO GUIDE OUR FEET INTO THE WAY OF PEACE.
Christ proclaimed It prophetically to the Jews.  They had to believe in the resurrected Christ to be children of light.
(John 12: 35 -36)Then Jesus said unto them, YET A LITTLE WHILE IS THE LIGHT WITH YOU. WALK WHILE YE HAVE THE LIGHT, LEST DARKNESS COME UPON YOU: FOR HE THAT WALKETH IN DARKNESS KNOWETH NOT WHITHER HE GOETH. 36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.
John 12:46 I AM COME A LIGHT INTO THE WORLD, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness.
Acts 26:23 THAT CHRIST SHOULD SUFFER, AND THAT HE SHOULD BE THE FIRST THAT SHOULD RISE FROM THE DEAD, AND SHOULD SHEW LIGHT UNTO THE PEOPLE, AND TO THE GENTILES
Anyone who rejects the Gospel rejected the light and will continue in darkness. The gospel shines as light in the minds of unbelievers to illuminate them with the reality of Christ.
2CO 4:4 IN WHOM THE GOD OF THIS WORLD HATH BLINDED THE MINDS OF THEM WHICH BELIEVE NOT, LEST THE LIGHT OF THE GLORIOUS GOSPEL OF CHRIST, WHO IS THE IMAGE OF GOD, SHOULD SHINE UNTO THEM.
Receive Jesus Christ today and be a child of light.
1Th 5:5 YE ARE ALL THE CHILDREN OF LIGHT, AND THE CHILDREN OF THE DAY: WE ARE NOT OF THE NIGHT, NOR OF DARKNESS
Col 1:12 ¶ Giving thanks unto the Father, WHICH HATH MADE US MEET TO BE PARTAKERS OF THE INHERITANCE OF THE SAINTS IN LIGHT:

                         YOU DO NOT BECOME A SAINT BECAUSE OF WORKS Many times believers have called those who teach the truth about benefits of Christ death, burial and resurrection as those who teach the diluted Gospel but in actuality, they are those teaching the undiluted Gospel. The Gospel is not the mind of men. It does not have to appear pleasing to any man’s hearing to be the truth. Christ came into this world to take away the sin of the world. A BELIEVR IS THE TRUE IDENTIY OF GOD. God was invisible until Christ manifested in the flesh so that man could see God in the flesh and relate with Him the way He truly is. God is not anything outside love.( John 15: 12-27) Christ was the physical manifestation of the spiritually real God John 4:24 GOD IS A SPIRIT: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. In the Old Testament the prophets walked with God because they could only relate with God based on the shadows of things to come. This is the reason no believer would ever like to be like Elijah or Moses. Those men never had the accurate nature on God. But the believer do not only walk with God , the believer walks in God.
