A BELIEVER DOES GOOD NOT EVIL
GAL 6:10 AS WE HAVE THEREFORE OPPORTUNITY, LET US DO GOOD UNTO ALL MEN, ESPECIALLY UNTO THEM WHO ARE OF THE HOUSEHOLD OF FAITH.
The main reason Christ came to take away sin for man is for man to become totally good and do good. (John 1: 29) This means that man would no more be walking with the heart of sin but the hearts of love. The heart of evil has given way for the hearts of love the day we received Jesus Christ as our lord and Savior. This means that a believer walks with the mind of Christ not the mind of man which is soaked in unbelief.  
This was the heart of man.
JEREMAIAH 17:9 THE HEART IS DECEITFUL ABOVE ALL THINGS, AND DESPERATELY WICKED: WHO CAN KNOW IT? 10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
GEN 6: 5 AND GOD SAW THAT THE WICKEDNESS OF MAN WAS GREAT IN THE EARTH, AND THAT EVERY IMAGINATION OF THE THOUGHTS OF HIS HEART WAS ONLY EVIL CONTINUALLY.
But the mind of a believe is different
PHIL 2: 5  LET THIS MIND BE IN YOU, WHICH WAS ALSO IN CHRIST JESUS:
At the point of conversion an exchange took place. Christ comes into our lives through the word by faith to give us eternal life. This is what the bible called New Creature. There is a creation that takes place when anyone receives Jesus Christ. It is a spiritual reality that births physical evidence. It is new birth that takes place in the mind of the new Creature. This would result to a new development of a new mind set in similitude of the mind of Christ. This is what the bible calls transformation. Change of form. Our minds changes form to be able to receive a new type of live. This is spiritual circumcision.
COL 2:11 IN WHOM ALSO YE ARE CIRCUMCISED WITH THE CIRCUMCISION MADE WITHOUT HANDS, IN PUTTING OFF THE BODY OF THE SINS OF THE FLESH BY THE CIRCUMCISION OF CHRIST.
(ROM 12: 2 2 AND BE NOT CONFORMED TO THIS WORLD: BUT BE YE TRANSFORMED BY THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND, THAT YE MAY PROVE WHAT IS THAT GOOD, AND ACCEPTABLE, AND PERFECT, WILL OF GOD. )
1 PETER 1:14 AS OBEDIENT CHILDREN, NOT FASHIONING YOURSELVES ACCORDING TO THE FORMER LUSTS IN YOUR IGNORANCE:
It is only by constantly renewing the mind that a believer can overcome evil with good otherwise a believer who does not renew the mind could easily be overcome by flesh to do evil. Evil comes from the mind.
 MARK 7:21 FOR FROM WITHIN, OUT OF THE HEART OF MEN, PROCEED EVIL THOUGHTS, ADULTERIES, FORNICATIONS, MURDERS 22 THEFTS, COVETOUSNESS, WICKEDNESS, DECEIT, LASCIVIOUSNESS, AN EVIL EYE, BLASPHEMY, PRIDE, FOOLISHNESS:
MATT 15: 19 FOR OUT OF THE HEART PROCEED EVIL THOUGHTS, MURDERS, ADULTERIES, FORNICATIONS, THEFTS, FALSE WITNESS, BLASPHEMIES
No one could overcome evil with evil because the solution to evil is not in evil. The solution to evil is in good. Devil cannot cast away devil. Sin cannot drive away sin. That was why Christ came that sin might die.
1THESS 5:15 SEE THAT NONE RENDER EVIL FOR EVIL UNTO ANY MAN; BUT EVER FOLLOW THAT WHICH IS GOOD, BOTH AMONG YOURSELVES, AND TO ALL MEN.
 1PETER 3:9 NOT RENDERING EVIL FOR EVIL, OR RAILING FOR RAILING: BUT CONTRARIWISE BLESSING; KNOWING THAT YE ARE THEREUNTO CALLED, THAT YE SHOULD INHERIT A BLESSING.
To overcome evil with good we have put on the mind of Christ
ROM 12:21 BE NOT OVERCOME OF EVIL, BUT OVERCOME EVIL WITH GOOD.
It does not matter whether people reward your good work with evil deeds . It will not stop us from doing good.
PS 109:5 AND THEY HAVE REWARDED ME EVIL FOR GOOD, AND HATRED FOR MY LOVE.
Grace was not given to man for evil to abound but for the regenerated spirit to overcame the fleshy resistances in our souls and do good. This is fruit of the spirit. GOODNESS .
GAL 5:22 BUT THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS LOVE, JOY, PEACE, LONGSUFFERING, GENTLENESS, GOODNESS, FAITH.
EPH 5:9 (FOR THE FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT IS IN ALL GOODNESS AND RIGHTEOUSNESS AND TRUTH;)
We cannot bear the fruit of the spirit in evil. Our recreated human spirit in all components produces goodness. Evil comes from a mind that has not been renewed with the knowledge of Christ.
But and unbeliever cannot bear the fruit of the spirit no matter how goo the act may appear. He can only be a philanthropist. When a believer does evil it means that the believer had left the mind soured with junks do to lack of revelation. This in turn made the believer to respond to the dictate of the flesh by the senses.
Let us always remember that the mind of Christ needs renewal.  TO HAVE THE MIND OF Christ is not a stagnant state of mind but a progressive state of mind that needs renewal with the knowledge of Christ every now and again until Christ comes. This active state helps us to do good constantly and consistently and abhor evil.

GOD IS THE FATHER OF SPIRITS MAN IS THE FATHER OF FLESH Heb 12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather BE IN SUBJECTION UNTO THE FATHER OF SPIRITS, AND LIVE? In the Old Testament, God was not known as a father. He was only a circumstantial God with diverse names based on the situation he created to reveal Himself to a particular person at a particular time. Consequently, many have seen God manifest in their lives in a particular situation at a particular time that made them give   God names according to the situation H created for the revelation. ON THE CROSS On the cross both sin and man died but Christ did not die. He was made sin for the body of sin to die in man and not in God. As God He cannot die, But as man He took on the body of sin on the cross for sin to die through his death.
