DO NOT MIND THE THINGS OF THE FLESH
The flesh had been the challenge of man because the flesh never pleases God.
(RO 8:8-9) 8 SO THEN THEY THAT ARE IN THE FLESH CANNOT PLEASE GOD . 9 BUT YE ARE NOT IN THE FLESH, BUT IN THE SPIRIT, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.
JOH 3:6 THAT WHICH IS BORN OF THE FLESH IS FLESH; AND THAT WHICH IS BORN OF THE SPIRIT IS SPIRIT
Every human being was born of the flesh. This is a natural state. Those of us that were born after the resurrection of Christ remain in the flesh (natural) until we receive Jesus Christ. Those who were born before the resurrection of Christ were born of the flesh and remained in sin until the death of sin on the cross.
Roman 8: 3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
As soon as anyone receives Jesus Christ, you become born of the spirit and remain in the spirit and God is pleased with them because they are in Christ.. And those who do not receive Jesus Christ , remain in the flesh and cannot please God because they are in the flesh no matter how philanthropic they may be.
ROMANS 8: 8 SO THEN THEY THAT ARE IN THE FLESH CANNOT PLEASE GOD .
ROM 8:5 FOR THEY THAT ARE AFTER THE FLESH DO MIND THE THINGS OF THE FLESH; BUT THEY THAT ARE AFTER THE SPIRIT THE THINGS OF THE SPIRIT.
The flesh and the spirit never work hand in hand.
GAL 5: 17 FOR THE FLESH LUSTETH AGAINST THE SPIRIT, AND THE SPIRIT AGAINST THE FLESH: AND THESE ARE CONTRARY THE ONE TO THE OTHER: SO THAT YE CANNOT DO THE THINGS THAT YE WOULD.
 Whatever your spirit desires is what your flesh hates. It was through the desires of the flesh that sin entered the world through Adam. Another word for the flesh is your senses. Those who are in the flesh are controlled by their senses. They are natural men. This means that they are controlled from outside in by feelings based on what they hear, taste, feel or see. Resultantly they make their choices based on senses and they can never please God because they do not walk by faith.  
A man who is born of spirit minds the things of the spirit because he is born again. This man could be led by the spirit.
 God is pleased with him in Christ. You may not get the exact direction of what God is telling you at every point in time but that does not mean you are not led by the spirit. You can get direction from a man who could get direction from the Holy Spirit and by so doing you will be getting acquainted with the voice of God.
ROMANS 8:14 FOR AS MANY AS ARE LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD, THEY ARE THE SONS OF GOD.
GAL 5:18 BUT IF YE BE LED OF THE SPIRIT, YE ARE NOT UNDER THE LAW
Any man who minds the things of the spirit should leave the flesh behind. This means that he should be led from inside out. He should listen to the spirit through the word of God and walk by faith and not by feeling based on what you see, hear or taste. This is how to receive your miracles.
The flesh will never leave even if you are born of the spirit. You are the one that will mind the things of the spirit because the flesh has been crucified with Christ. You are the one that would manifest the fruit of your recreated human spirit and leave the works of the flesh.
THESE ARE THE REASONS WE SHOULD LEAVE THE FLESH BEHIND***
1.       We are Christ’s
GAL 5: 24 AND THEY THAT ARE CHRIST'S HAVE CRUCIFIED THE FLESH WITH THE AFFECTIONS AND LUSTS.
2 It is against our soul
1PETER 2:11 DEARLY BELOVED, I BESEECH YOU AS STRANGERS AND PILGRIMS, ABSTAIN FROM FLESHLY LUSTS, WHICH WAR AGAINST THE SOUL.
3 We have been crucified with Christ
GAL 2: 20 I AM CRUCIFIED WITH CHRIST: NEVERTHELESS I LIVE; YET NOT I, BUT CHRIST LIVETH IN ME: AND THE LIFE WHICH I NOW LIVE IN THE FLESH I LIVE BY THE FAITH OF THE SON OF GOD, WHO LOVED ME, AND GAVE HIMSELF FOR ME.
ROMANS 6: 6 KNOWING THIS, THAT OUR OLD MAN IS CRUCIFIED WITH HIM, THAT THE BODY OF SIN MIGHT BE DESTROYED, THAT HENCEFORTH WE SHOULD NOT SERVE SIN
THESE ARE THE REASONS YOU SHOULD DESIRE TO BE IN THE SPIRIT***
1.       Those who are in the flesh cannot please God
ROMANS 8: 8 SO THEN THEY THAT ARE IN THE FLESH CANNOT PLEASE GOD .
2.       So that we could be led by the Spirit instead of senses
GAL 5:18 BUT IF YE BE LED OF THE SPIRIT, YE ARE NOT UNDER THE LAW
ROMANS 8:14 FOR AS MANY AS ARE LED BY THE SPIRIT OF GOD, THEY ARE THE SONS OF GOD.
3.       To receive eternal life.
JOH 3:15 THAT WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE ETERNAL LIFE.
Our best position in life is not to be in the flesh even though we were all born of the flesh but to be born of the spirit to be in the spirit as spirits because that is God’s plan for us in Christ.
Make that choice today.
Receive Jesus Christ and be born again.

GOD IS THE FATHER OF SPIRITS MAN IS THE FATHER OF FLESH Heb 12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather BE IN SUBJECTION UNTO THE FATHER OF SPIRITS, AND LIVE? In the Old Testament, God was not known as a father. He was only a circumstantial God with diverse names based on the situation he created to reveal Himself to a particular person at a particular time.
